DNL Adjuster

DNL Adjuster

The DNL adjuster is used for simple and precise adjustment of our diffractive null lenses (DNL). It holds the CGH and the transmission sphere (TS) to be used at the same time and is mounted via the standard bayonet mount of the interferometer. The CGH is moved precisely in three independent spatial axes using micrometers and tilted gimbally in two axes. This speeds up the adjustment process considerably.

Rotation Mount

Standard Mounts

Our CGHs are supplied with a bayonet mount as standard. This makes it simple to connect the CGHs to the majority of Fizeau interferometers. All non-rotationally symmetric CGHs are supplied with a rotatable mount as standard. The rotatable CGH mount allows the CGH to rotate 360° even after it has been attached to the interferometer.

Bajonett Mount

Fine Adjustment Rotation Mount

Our fine adjustment rotation mount for CGHs allows for 360° of coarse adjustment even after the CGH has been attached to the interferometer, just as with the rotatable CGH mount. The fine adjustment is precise to ±2°. This is particularly beneficial when measuring aspheres, cylinders, and other free-form surfaces.
