Reach for the stars with CGHs from DIOPTIC
Starting in 2026, ESA’s PLATO mission will search for Earth-like planets outside our solar system. In the process, 26 telescopes will collect spectral data from stars, which in turn will allow conclusions to be drawn about such exoplanets. CGHs from DIOPTIC will be used to check and adjust the convex asphere of the telescopes with high precision.
ARGOS matrix 400 – new dimensions in surface inspection
With the ARGOS matrix family, DIOPTIC has developed a mature solution for the automated surface inspection of optics. The latest child ARGOS matrix 400 with a maximum inspection area of 400×600mm opens up completely new possibilities. Because with it, not only the lenses but also the injection molds can be inspected for surface defects during optical plastic injection molding.
Thermography in the micro range
Making surface temperatures or heat flows visible by thermographic systems is a common imaging technique on a large scale – for example, detecting energy losses of buildings. It also works for quality inspection in the microscale. However, this requires outstanding infrared optics that are characterized by highest transmission and best image quality. This is exactly what the DIOPTIC infrared microscope objective with 0.25x magnification does.
